Stripe and webhooks

Connection and automatic invoicing are configured separately. A newly connected account has automatic invoicing disabled until you explicitly enable it.

Review the account, its series and supported event settings. Collecting payment for an existing invoice differs from generating a new invoice from a payment.

Find the transaction and review the connected account, test mode and event details. Test events do not produce real invoices.

Check whether automatic invoicing is active and whether required issuance data is missing. If an issue allows replay, fix its cause and check the result before manually invoicing.

A webhook notifies your integration’s URL about an event. An automation applies conditions and runs actions within a workflow. They can work together.

Configure the endpoint and event subscriptions you need. Your integration must verify signatures and handle repeated deliveries without duplicating its own work.

Check that the endpoint is active and open delivery history to find the response code or failure reason. Confirm that the URL is reachable and your service accepts the request.

Repeated final failures may disable the endpoint. Fix the cause before reactivating it and review which deliveries need to be repeated.
