Items, services and stock

Save catalogue items with their reference, price and taxes, then select them when preparing documents. Services do not manage stock.

Review units and packaging when selling boxes, packs or decimal quantities. The commercial quantity may differ from the base unit used for inventory.

Check that inventory management is active for the company and that stock tracking is enabled for the item. The line must reference the product rather than just contain manually entered text.

A draft does not create the stock departure of an issued invoice. Enabling tracking now does not automatically reconstruct movements from old documents.

Open the item’s history and locate incoming, outgoing and adjustment movements with their source documents. Check quantities and units before correcting the balance.

Reversals create an opposite movement to preserve traceability. Avoid manually compensating for an operation still being processed or already reversed.

Yes. A recorded purchase invoice can create incoming movements for tracked products. Drafts let you review the purchase before recording it.

Check that each line references the right item and that its packaging reflects the quantity received. A free-text line does not identify an inventory product.
