First things first

Four sentences you will not read here

A comparison earns trust through what it refuses to say, not through what it claims. All four of these were written in some draft of this site, and all four fell apart the moment we went to check them.

  • We do not say it

“The only one with artificial intelligence.”

    Why

Not true. All eleven have AI in their product, each applied to something different. Holded and Zoho also publish an MCP server for working from Claude, exactly as we do. Being the only one at something has to be checked before it is written, and this did not hold up.

  • We do not say it

“The program certified by the tax office.”

    Why

That category does not exist. Royal Decree 1007/2023 does not certify programs: what it requires is a responsible declaration from the maker. We do not have such a certification and we cannot deny it to anyone else either, because the yardstick would be invented.

  • We do not say it

    “Cheaper than every other one.”

    Why

We are not. Anfix starts at €4.99/month, Facturaly at €6.45 and Billin at €6.60 plus VAT, all three below our €6.90. And FacturaDirecta and Contasimple have a permanent free plan, a price we do not compete with.

  • We do not say it

“Sage does not publish its prices.”

    Why

What actually happened is different: we could not read them. Its site returns a 403 and pages with no rendered text, so its card says “you have to ask” and not “they do not publish it”. The difference looks small and it is the whole difference.

The entry price

The number everyone looks at first decides the least

Ten entry prices on the same scale, with ours in the place it belongs. Under each bar is what that figure leaves out: the invoices that fit in a year, the users included and what is charged separately. That is where the cost from the second month on really changes.

  1. Anfix

    €4.99/month

Básico carries 60 invoices, 60 receipts, 60 quotes and 60 automatic expense scans a year, with one user and the app. The API is Premium-only at €83.33/month billed annually, and stock is offered as an additional module.

  2. Facturaly

    €6.45/month

Its Basic plan caps at 60 invoices and 240 expenses a year, with one user; ten users come to €27.45/month. It names an API among its features but publishes no documentation for integrators.

  3. Billin

    €6.60/month plus VAT

€80 plus VAT a year. It includes one user, up to 5 clients and 10 products; sales documents and electronic invoices are unlimited. It scans five documents a month and reserves the public API for Ilimitado.

  4. FactuareaThat's us

    €6.90/month plus VAT

Emprendedor billed annually, or €9.90 paid monthly. It carries 500 documents a year, one user, uncapped clients, products and series, API and MCP. Delivery notes, proformas, recurring documents and Facturae start on Empresario at €18.90/month billed annually.

  5. Cuéntica

    €9/month plus VAT

That plan is called “Facturación”: full management is the next step up, €19/month. It publishes no MCP server of its own, although a community one exists along with the Zapier connector over its API.

  6. Declarando

    €9.90/month plus VAT

This is its Verifactu Plus plan, invoicing only, with unlimited invoices and five expenses a month. Its plans with an adviser run from €29.90 to €49.90/month plus VAT depending on who files your taxes, your usual accountant or them.

  7. FacturaDirecta

    €10/month plus VAT, or free

Its Gratis plan is free forever and carries VeriFactu, API, Zapier and webhooks, capped at 10 clients and 10 products. The paid Básico plan raises that to 100 clients and 25 products for €10 plus VAT a month.

  8. Contasimple

    €10.95/month

Its free plan gives 12 documents a year, 10 clients and 5 products. The Profesional plan at €10.95 carries one user, 50 products and 100 MB of storage.

  9. Quipu

    €14/month

€168 a year billed annually and €17/month on its own. It carries one user and each extra one costs €5/month. The API starts on its Solution plan, €300 a year, with 500 calls a month.

  10. Holded

    €15/month

The €7.50/month it advertises is its -50% promotion for three months; the list price of the Plus plan is €15.00. That plan carries 250 invoices a year and zero recurring invoices. Inventory is an add-on from €25/month and each extra user costs €10/month.

Two that do not fit on this scale

Zoho Books$12/month per organisation
That is its Standard plan, and it publishes no rate in euros for Spain, so we neither convert the figure nor set it against ours. It meets VeriFactu through a responsible declaration by Zoho Corporation B.V. dated 27 September 2025, and the filing with the Spanish tax office is done by the B2BRouter platform.
SageYou have to ask
We could not read its rate: its site returns a 403 and pages with no text. That does not mean Sage keeps it secret. It also depends on the edition, the users and the modules. Its MCP server is only in Sage Intacct, its United States ERP and read-only, not in the Spanish range.

Amounts as published for annual billing and checked on 4 August 2026. Some quote them with VAT on top and others do not say, so the scale is for sorting, not for signing: the small print is on each owner's site.

Entry plans, side by side

A similar price does not buy the same thing

Billin and Anfix cost less to start, but their plans are not smaller versions of ours. This is exactly what each price includes, including features they provide that we reserve for Empresario or do not offer today.

Factuarea versus

Billin

Annual difference

Factuarea +€2.80

With Factuarea

  • No cap on clients, products or series.
  • 500 documents a year and one user.
  • Public API and MCP server from the entry plan.

With Billin

  • One user, up to 5 clients and 10 products.
  • Unlimited invoices, receipts, quotes, delivery notes and proformas, including Facturae and TicketBAI.
  • Five automatic scans a month, recurring documents and a mobile app; the public API requires the Ilimitado plan.

The difference is €2.80 a year. Factuarea fits better if your client list or catalogue will grow, or you need to integrate from day one. Billin fits better if you need Facturae, delivery notes, proformas, recurring documents and automatic reading in the cheapest plan.

Factuarea versus

Anfix

Annual difference

Factuarea +€22.92

With Factuarea

  • 500 documents a year, with no cap on clients, products or series.
  • Public API and MCP server from the entry plan.
  • Stock management included, with no extra module to buy.

With Anfix

  • 60 invoices, 60 receipts and 60 quotes a year on the Básico plan.
  • Mobile app and 60 automatic expense scans a year.
  • The API is Premium-only at €83.33/month billed annually; stock is offered as an additional module.

Anfix saves €22.92 a year and fits a very low volume that values the app and expense reading. Factuarea costs more but provides far more capacity, integrations and stock from the entry plan. Anfix's full accounting belongs to higher tiers, not the €4.99 Básico plan.

The eleven

ERP

Holded

An ERP with invoicing, accounting, treasury, CRM, HR and inventory. It meets VeriFactu and publishes an MCP server and an API, exactly as we do.

Published entry price

€15/month

The €7.50/month it advertises is its -50% promotion for three months; the list price of the Plus plan is €15.00. That plan carries 250 invoices a year and zero recurring invoices. Inventory is an add-on from €25/month and each extra user costs €10/month.

It fits you better than we do if

You need a full ERP with accounting, treasury and CRM in a single tool, or your team already works with its modules.

When we are not the answer

Six times another one on this list serves you better

None of the six costs us a customer we were going to keep. What they prevent is somebody paying for two months to find out in the third week what was already written here.

  1. If this is you

I want to keep the accounts, the balance sheets and the annual statements inside the same program.

    Then look at

We do not do accounting, and we are not planning to. Sage 50 and Holded include it, and Anfix offers it in its accounting tiers; that advantage should not be confused with the €4.99 Básico plan shown on the price scale.

  2. If this is you

I want a person to review my taxes, not just the program I invoice with.

    Then look at

We are the program, not the accountant. Declarando is a tax practice with its own software, and Cuéntica pairs invoicing with an accountant.

  3. If this is you

I want to start without paying anything and stay there while I invoice very little.

    Then look at

We have no free plan: ten days of trial without a card and then €6.90/month billed annually. FacturaDirecta has a free-forever plan with VeriFactu, API and webhooks, capped at 10 clients and 10 products, and Contasimple another one with 12 documents a year.

  4. If this is you

I invoice in several countries and I want to run all of it from one tool.

    Then look at

Ours is built for Spain: VeriFactu, Facturae and the Spanish tax forms. Zoho Books is a global suite with CRM and inventory, designed for many countries.

  5. If this is you

I take a photo of the receipt and I want it to turn into an expense on its own.

    Then look at

Automatic receipt reading is not part of any of our plans today. Billin has a reader for invoices and receipts, Quipu digitises receipts with a per-plan quota and Anfix has its own expense OCR.

  6. If this is you

I need electronic invoicing for public administrations from the very first euro.

    Then look at

Here Facturae starts on the Empresario plan, €18.90/month billed annually, not on the entry plan. Facturaly marks it on all three of its plans, and Billin, Contasimple, Cuéntica, FacturaDirecta, Holded and Sage issue it too.

All six come from the same check of 4 August 2026, and in all six what is said about the other one is what that product declares about itself. If none of them is you, then yes: keep reading.
